Below are the gifts exchange after Akad Nikah proceeding ( The groom signs the marriage contract and agrees to provide the bride with a mas kahwin.)

These are the gifts of Nikah given by bride to the groom after Akad Nikah proceeding.

Bunga Telur

They are bunga telur (usually telur pindang and telur masin) that is specially prepared and decorated for Bersanding ceremony ("sitting together of the bride and bridegroom on the bridal couch) where the groom and bride will sit on the pelamin. Bunga telur traditionally given out to those who bless the happy couple.

Malay Wedding Favours

Last weekend, I went for my Malay friend's wedding ceremony. After the ceremony these are the wedding favours that they presented to me:

There were different types of wedding favours available for everyone that ranged from soaps, sweets for the kids, little teacup eggs and the bunga telur.
